Understandably, we are all concerned about security, especially when it comes to collecting children's names and addresses on the web. The following is a brief list of security features with eConfirm. 

Is my data safe?

  • Secure Socket Layer (SSL) - SSL is the industry standard for viewing and sending sensitive information in an internet browser. All data submissions are sent with SSL encryption, creating a secure envelope for data submission.
  • Firewalls - all data is stored behind secure firewalls using the latest industry standards.
  • CAPTCHA - Provides an extra layer of security on top of our built-in protection that keeps spammers and "bots" from submitting bogus information to your form. 

How long is my data stored?

You have complete control over how long the data is stored.  After downloading the data and updating your directory, we recommend that the data be completely removed from our server.   The length of time the data stays on our secure server is completely up to you.

Who has access to my organizations data?

Only the administrator has access to the data using a login and password.
